Homeless?

The Step Up Drop-in offers a service to anyone over 16 who is either homeless or vulnerably housed.

Homeless man alone in the cold

On a basic level, we offer a provision of clothing, toiletries, blankets and sleeping bags to those who are homeless in Northampton. There are sandwiches and hot drinks, a postal address service, valuable documents’ storage and a hot lunch on a Monday. We offer showers,  a laundry service and issue food bank vouchers.

We aim to offer assistance and advice with signposting to appropriate services and local agencies.

We help with initial enquiries for accommodation on a short or long term basis, and related form filling. Need to write a basic CV? We are here to help.

Our service isn’t only about meeting the practical need; it’s also about giving the time, dignity and friendship to those facing tragedies, difficulties, addictions and hopelessness. Our team is fuelled by experiences of lives changed, of destructive cycles broken and lives restored.

We are open –
